As a school we are passionate in promoting opportunities for children to develop as well-rounded individuals. As part of this, we encourage children to have time outside of the school day to join clubs and societies and to spend quality time with their families. We have restructured our expectations for home learning to support this.

In addition to their daily reading, children have weekly spelling rules to learn and practise, and times tables to commit to memory. All children are also provided with access to the Doodle Learning apps for development and practice of core learning skills in English, spelling, Maths and tables. Children are expected to access these daily to complete a small number of questions for their ‘x-a-day’. These intelligent apps will adjust the content to ensure it suitably challenges each child individually.
