Welcome
On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to Trottiscliffe Church of England Primary School.
We are all very proud of our school and I consider it my pleasure to work with such a committed and caring team of staff and governors, who are all dedicated to ensuring we provide the very best experience for our pupils. Trottiscliffe is at the heart of the local community, having strong links with our local church of St Peter & St Pauls. As a Church of England school, we place an emphasis on the development of the whole child – academically, socially and spiritually.
“Trottiscliffe ‘is a small school with a big heart’. This sums up very well its caring, family nature, where older pupils show a kindly concern for the younger ones.” (SIAS report March 2013)
We pride ourselves on providing a safe and stimulating learning environment where all children can learn in small classes and play in the natural beauty of our idyllic setting. At Trottiscliffe, we recognise each child as an individual, we aim to give all children every opportunity to realise their full potential, believing that a close partnership between the school, parents and the child is essential if we are to achieve this aim.
I hope our website gives you a glimpse of some of the many things that we do. If you would like to visit the school, please contact the school office, we look forward to welcoming you and giving you a tour of the school.
Miss Lucy Henderson
