On Tuesday we had a visit from the National Fruit Show. They worked with all the classes and the children had a great informative time. They learnt about the life cycle of an apple tree. The children were national fruit judges and tested a variety of apples and apple products such a crisps and juice which they had made themselves.

Two of the gardening club, Lewis and Harley, help to dig a hole for a new pear tree. We are all looking forward to seeing it grow and tasting its delicious fruit. See if your child can tell them what a mouse ear is on a tree.
